EastEnders Star Khali Best Suspended From BBC Show

The 26-year-old actor punished for ‘bad behaviour backstage and outside of work’

EASTENDERS STAR Khali Best has been suspended from the long-running soap for ‘bad behaviour backstage and outside of work’.

The 26-year-old actor, who plays Dexter Hartman on the BBC show, has been dismissed for three months according to a show spokesman.

They confirmed: “Khali Best has been suspended from EastEnders for three months. We will not comment any further on this matter.”

The news comes just a few months after Best won Best Newcomer at the National Television Awards earlier this year.

Earlier this month, Khali was involved in a road collision when he crashed his £18,000 Audi A3 car in busy rush-hour morning traffic.

Best’s suspension comes just months after fellow Eastenders star Ricky Norwood, who plays Arthur ‘Fatboy’ Chubb, was also banned from filming after a video emerged of him smoking marijuana.

The star, who was also alleged to have performed a sex act on camera, was suspended for two months “for bringing the show into disrepute”.
